Honey-Pineapple Ham Recipe
Boil a fully-cooked whole picnic ham for 1 hr to remove salt (if desired), drain water, transfer to baking dish, score, add 580mL of Kitchen Kuisine Honey-Pineapple Sauce and two bay leaves, bake in a pre-heated oven at 375oF until sauce thickens, basting frequently. If sauce gets too thick, add a small amount of ham stock or water until the desired consistency is reached. Approximately 20 minutes before serving, add one can of pineapple tidbits. To serve: slice ham and spoon over Kitchen Kuisine Honey-Pineapple Sauce.
Optional Cooking Method: Combine Kitchen Kuisine Honey-Pineapple Sauce with 1/2 cup of very fine-ground bread crumbs and a 1/2 cup of water or ham stock, whisk well, and pour sauce mixture around ham. For a glistening ham, reserve a few tablespoons of Kitchen Kuisine Honey-Pineapple Sauce to use as a glaze before serving.
